Irfan Pathan, a former Indian cricketer, established sibling relationship objectives by posting a hilarious meme. It was about his mix-up and verbal confrontation with his brother Yusuf Pathan during the World Championship of Legends (WCL) match against South Africa.
Pathan took to Instagram and posted a video of him and Yusuf bickering while attempting to escape with the description “Brothers when they are alone”. In a later scene titled “Brothers in front of Parents,” Irfan Pathan and Yusuf embrace.
Pathan wrote in the caption, poking light at the nature of arguments between brothers that are prevalent in any household, “Brothers can you relate”.
Miscommunication between the brothers caused Irfan to run out on the first ball of the twentieth over. Irfan Pathan attempted a lofted shot over the infield in search of a second run. However, Yusuf was caught staring at the ball as Irfan began to sprint for the second run. Yusuf raised his hand to stop Irfan, but it was already too late. Irfan dropped his wicket.
Controversial Exchange: Irfan Pathan vs. Yousuf
South Africa‘s Champions defeated India’s Champions. Australia’s Champions defeated West Indies’ Champions in the last two league games of the World Championship of Legends 2024 on Wednesday at Northampton’s County Ground.
The angry exchange between Irfan Pathan and Yousuf took place in the 19th over of India’s Champions run chase, when Irfan smacked a Dale Steyn delivery to deep covers. The Pathan brothers took one, and Irfan requested a second.
However, Yusuf Pathan ended up monitoring the ball and raised his hand to ask Irfan to stay still. Irfan Pathan was already halfway down the pitch when he turned back to return to the crease, and the deep throw landed in the hands of Steyn, who removed the bails to run him out.
With that, the league stage concluded, and the league now has four semi-finalists. The Pakistan Champions will face the West Indies Champions in the first semi-final on Friday (July 12), while Australia and India will face off in the second.
The winners of the respective games will compete in the summit clash on July 13.

The South African Champions achieved a total of 210/8 in 20 overs, thanks to searing half-centuries from opener Jacques Synman and wicketkeeper Richard Levi, while the bowlers restricted India to 156/6 in the allotted 20 overs to finish their campaign on a high note.
Synman, who struck an undefeated 82 against Pakistan in the previous game, demonstrated his batting skills once more, slamming 73 off 43 balls (10x4s, 3×6) to set a good platform for his team.
Later, Levi hammered a 25-ball 60, including five sixes and as many boundaries, to help his team control the middle overs.
While the Indian bowlers made a great recovery in the final overs, they were unable to prevent the Proteas from scoring a large total. Harbhajan Singh (4/25) was India’s best bowler, as the Turbanator used his off-spin to turn back the clock.
India‘s openers failed to get their team off to a good start in the run chase, and their top five were back in the dugout with only 77 runs on the board in 11.3 overs.
Yusuf Pathan (54* off 44) and Irfan Pathan (35 off 21) shared a crucial stand, but they were unable to help their side cross the finish line as the asking rate continued to rise. India eventually lost by 54 runs.
