Endrick Felipe Discusses Real Madrid post Copa Exit with Brazil

Brazil and their Copa America dreams ended much sooner than many people would have thought. Even Neymar was seen crying post-loss in a nightclub after the game, shocking fans, pundits, ex-players, and coaches who thought Brazil was going to go all the way to the coveted final match. But, Real Madrid can rejoice.

Now, Felipe must think of his club next, not the country, in terms of footballing future. Felipe has already thought about his club back in Spain playing in La Liga to see if they can win the Champions League next season and top the domestic league once more.

Endrick Felipe is a young and talented footballer who not only plays for his home country of Spain in international tournaments like Copa America but also takes the field for one of the best clubs in the entire world — Real Madrid. Real Madrid frequently wins the La Liga, the top domestic league in Spain, and often contends for the sought-after Champions League trophy that takes the top clubs around Europe every single year.

After a much-needed break from international football and the Spanish league, Endrick Felipe will rejoin his team in Spain, along with Rodrygo Goe and Vinicius Junior, other well-known talents on the Madrid team. Endrick, however, is in a different boat than other Madrid players — he has not stepped foot on the pitch yet as a Real Madrid squad member, as he has not yet turned 18 years old.

Endrick is a teenage phenomenon who Real Madrid will be happy to nurture into one of the best of his generation. He is excited to join Madrid, even after a surprising knockout from Copa America.

“Now I think about Real Madrid. It’s very difficult to talk about the match because unfortunately we were eliminated. But now, my head is in Madrid.”

Endrick Felipe is one of the most talented youngsters in the world, so it is a relief that Real Madrid’s newest member is focused on the upcoming season. Felipe is only 17 years old but has already made an impact in the game of soccer in his short playing career.

Felipe began his youth career in Palmeiras, where he has stayed in the last three years on the senior team, amassing 66 appearances and scoring 18 goals in the top league — even as a 15, 16, and 17-year-old. He has also been capped ten times already for the senior Brazilian squad after his initial call-up in 2023.

Looking forward, Kendrick Felipe will hope to make an impact for Real Madrid next season. Madrid has already had a big name signing in the off-season with Kylian Mbappe joining the team after leaving Paris-Saint Germain in Ligue 1 in France.

Real Madrid will hope to capitalize on their success from last season and continue to win the domestic league and Champions League trophy again in 2024-2025.

Last season, Real Madrid won the league and earned 95 points in 38 matches played, besting the second-place Barcelona by ten points. They were miles ahead of the rest of the league, almost 30 points ahead of fourth-place team, Atletico Madrid.

Some of the other key players on their squad who will hope to continue to shine this season include Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham (the La Liga Player of the Year), Modric (one of the best midfielders of all time), and Courtois, the French shot-stopper.
