Pep, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich head coach, now boasts six English Premier League trophies in his name.

Guardiola emphasized the certainty of player turnover in modern football, noting that it’s actually a natural part of the game. He highlights the importance of being prepared for changes within the team, both in terms of departures and potential new arrivals.

However, Manchester City finds itself in a difficult position, with Kevin De Bruyne turning 33 this summer, amidst the enticing offers from big clubs in the Saudi Arabia Pro Leagues.

Long-time admirers Barcelona have eyes for Bernardo Silva, while their potential keeper Ederson could also be moving to another club.

“Next season we’ll have to go step by step, we’ll see what happens, what squad we will have. We have to start to work and after that we will see.”

“I know some players have to make a decision on whether they stay with us, some players might come. I’m really pleased with the team, how they’ve behaved all season. I could not say differently,” Guardiola said.
