Right now the MLB all-star selection for the American League is the infield with Vladimir Guerrero Jr, being fifth in hits for the American League, and this will be his fourth appearance. For the second base position, it will be Jose Altuve, being fifth in batting average in the American League and it will be his ninth all-star appearance. The shortstop will be Gunnar Henderson in his first appearance. He is third in the league in home runs.

The third base position will be represented by José Ramírez in his sixth all-star appearance, who is third in home runs in the American League. For a catcher, it will have two-time all-star Baltimore Orioles catcher, Adley Rutschman who is leading home runs in catchers for the league.

For the American League designated hitter, they selected now three-time all-star Yordan Alvarez, who is third in the American League batting average for outfielders. The outfield for the American League is the star power of Juan Soto in his fourth all-star appearance, being fourth in RBI in the American League.

Aaron Judge being ranked first in the voting was selected to his sixth all-star game. Judge is leading in batting average, and home runs for the American League. The last selection is Steven Kwan for his first all-star game and his excellent batting average of .362. This season’s MLB all-stars for the American League is fascinating to see.

MLB All-Star: National League Starters

The National League selections have Bryce Harper in first base leading the National League being third in batting average in the NL. This will be his eighth MLB all-star appearance. Along with Harper is the second baseman selection of Ketel Marte in his second MLB all-star appearance. Marte currently leads the NL in home runs in the position of second base.

Another selection for the National League is the third baseman, Alec Bohm, in his first all-star selection. Bohm is currently leading the NL in batting average and will be playing third base. In the National League, shortstop selection is Trea Turner in his third all-star game, during solid work with the Phillies. Even with the injury, Turner has enough votes to be a starter.

The National League selected William Contreras for the catcher position in his second all-star game. In the National League designated hitter selection, Shohei Ohtani in his fourth all-star selection. Ohtani is leading the NL in batting average and home runs at the moment. The outfield for the National League will be Fernando Tatis in his second all-star appearance, Jurickson Profar in his first all-star appearance, and Christain Yelich.

Tatis Jr. has 17 home runs, and a .279 average with his teammate Profar having a strong year with a .311 batting average. Christian Yelich has a stat line of a .329 batting average and eight home runs. The outfield for the National League has some elite talent this season.

The 2024 MLB All-Star game will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
