Azam Khan’s Midnight Snack Raises Big Concerns: Pakistan T20 Coach Upset

Azam Khan's Midnight Snack Raises Concerns: Pakistan Coach Upset

Azam Khan was spotted at midnight in New York grabbing some fast food from a food truck, and Azhar Mahmood was irritated when asked about it.

Just when you thought things couldn’t get much worse for Pakistan, they discovered a way to do so. Following India’s second T20 World Cup defeat, batter Azam Khan was spotted on the streets of New York. Azam has received a lot of criticism for his form and fitness.

Azam Khan was dropped for the match against India, but his appearance at a fast-food restaurant in the middle of the night promises to land the Pakistan batter in hot water.

A video of the incident has emerged, and while his face is not visible, Pakistan’s assistant coach, Azhar Mahmood, has implicitly verified his attendance. According to multiple sources, Azam was grabbing a snack when the media noticed him.

Azam’s Unhealthy Diet Plan Uplifts Questions

As the former all-rounder came down to address the press before Pakistan‘s must-win game against Canada, he was visibly irritated by the final question.

The questions were intended to revolve around the Canada game, but the journalist was allowed to ask about what happened after Pakistan lost to India.

How we watched the flight from Dallas to New York shows that athletes are given a diet plan. The players are subject to different rules and regulations. We traveled to several sites. Because the squad is losing, and losing badly, we noticed the players going to various locations at 1:00 or 1:30 a.m. “We kept watching how and what they were doing,” the reporter inquired.

Mahmood, apparently irritated by the ‘diet plan’ query, responded, “Did you see the match day?” Cricket is a game played on the ground. There is life after cricket. You were there. I’m telling you: you were there. I also saw you there.

“The fact is, we are a very emotional country. I mean, losing a match doesn’t mean your life is over. Yes. How are you going to do it? If you lose a match and then come inside the room and bang the walls, you will need some time to rest your thoughts.” he explained.

The wicketkeeper batter even spoke to a few members of the media. No one, even Azam, denied his presence, but Mahmood’s admission helped to clarify the situation.

Criticism Towards Azam: Impact on Team Selection

Furthermore, Mahmood Azhar added, “Our players aren’t like that. I’ve also been on English teams. If they go to a place like that, all you can do is eat; that is our amusement. Now, who needs to follow a diet plan? All teams around the world do it. There is no such thing,”

“When we lose, we feel we aren’t following this or that. If we had won, you would not have asked me this question. It is unknown whether Azam will return to Pakistan‘s playing XI for Tuesday night’s match against Canada. “

With Pakistan under intense pressure to stay alive and injury concerns for Imad Wasim, Azam may or may not be a good option.

Azam was chastised left, right, and center after his performance against the United States, which included a duck and questionable wicket-keeping.
