Talking about the highly anticipated match, former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif had some points to make regarding Pakistan’s batting line-up for the ICC event. He said that Pakistan’s batting line-up seems ‘weak’. This is what Mohammad Kaif said to Star Sports: “Everyone knows that the Pakistani team is weak in batting. Pakistan’s T20I squad for the World Cup is composed of 15 players, and it has again appointed Babar Azam as the captain of the side. They have a potent bowling lineup. The Pakistan cricket team will rely on Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi, as well as the young talent Naseem Shah, in the T20 World Cup.

In Group A, which could be considered the Mortal Enemies Group, Babar and his team will be fighting for the ultimate prize with India, Ireland, Canada, and the co-hosts, the USA, in the first round of the tournament. The former champions will begin the tournament with a match against the USA on Thursday in Dallas.

Highlighting the strength of Pakistan’s bowling, Mohammad Kaif noted,

“They will have Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah. Naseem Shah didn’t come to play in the World Cup in India. He was injured, but he is fit here. This will be a bouncy pitch. Naseem Shah is a very good bowler.

If you talk about the Melbourne match that Virat Kohli won, if you see Naseem Shah’s first spell, he got a nick and the catch was dropped at slip,” Mohammad Kaif added.
