Hard hitter Indian player Rinku Singh focused on his prohibition from the T20 World Cup crew. In spite of the fact that he didn’t make the 15-part group, he will go to the USA and West Indies as a save player. Regardless of the underlying dissatisfaction, Rinku Singh stays positive and zeroes in on future open doors.

His noteworthy structure and assurance make him a solid competitor for future competitions, as he keeps on trying sincerely and demonstrating his ability on the worldwide stage.

Rinku Singh, known for his impressive T20 International record, was a prime contender for a spot in the squad before the IPL 2024 began. Despite his team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), winning the title, Rinku didn’t have many opportunities to bat as the top order scored the bulk of the runs for the three-time champions.

The left-hander amassed 356 runs in 11 innings for India at a staggering strike rate of 176.24, winning matches single-handedly on a few occasions.

However, the selection committee opted for Shivam Dube over Rinku, citing Dube’s better individual performance in the IPL. Rinku Singh, despite his stellar show, was left out of the main squad but found solace in lifting the IPL trophy with KKR.

After securing the title, Rinku Singh admitted to feeling upset initially about the T20 World Cup snub. “Yes, anyone feels a little bad if he is not selected despite good performance. However, this time I could not get selected due to the team combination. It is okay; one should not think too much about things that are not in one’s hands. Yes, I was a little upset in the beginning.

Whatever happened is fine. Whatever happens, happens for good,” Rinku told Dainik Jagaran.

During a training session ahead of an IPL match between Mumbai Indians and KKR, Rinku Singh had a chat with India skipper Rohit Sharma. Rohit advised him not to worry too much about the snub, reminding him that another T20 World Cup is just two years away. “Rohit Sharma did not say anything special.

He only said to keep working hard. There is a World Cup again after two years. There is no need to worry too much. This is what he said to me,” Rinku revealed.

Rinku also spoke highly of Rohit Sharma’s captaincy, emphasizing how supportive he is of young players. “The whole world has seen how good his captaincy is. If I talk about myself personally, I have done only one tour with him so far. I have not even talked to him much. He supports the youth a lot. He only wants the youth to do well, and he always says, ‘Play, do well,'” Rinku Singh added.
