The head coach of England went from New Zealand to the UK for intensive talks with Anderson. McCullum discusses what the future of the English Test team is going to look like. It is to a large extent, projected to be the end of the line of the team’s core figures.

His ability to be one of the attacking bowlers was amazing. He had made lots of amazing records for his team. Through this, he will be remembered as the hero bowler for his team throughout history. The 42-year-old sensation is going to take his name off the team forever and will retire soon as per the discussion with the coach.

In July, James Anderson is going to be 42 years old.  He is a champion pace bowler in Test cricket with his formidable statistics of having attained 700 wickets. Only Muralitharan and Warne are the other two bowlers to have taken 700 or more Test wickets.

The fact that he is brilliant is no doubt, but attention has been diverted to his deteriorating playing form in recent times.

The brilliant veteran bowler captured only 10 wickets during England‘s recent Test tour against the Indians.
The guest team suffered a disappointing 4-1 loss. He got 15 wickets in his last eight Tests and an average for the last 12 months above 50, James Anderson’s effectiveness is an issue that has been brought up.
McCullum is determined to get the bowling department of the England team fit and ready for the Ashes series. Which will begin next month, is considering some alterations to the squad. This can also give James Anderson’s international test career the required push to take off.
