Buffalo Bills Frustrate Fans and Move Out of the First Round 4.25.2024

Buffalo Bills sign critical member of secondary on eve of NFL season.

If you’re a fan of the Buffalo Bills you have disappointment to spare. Bills fans were anxious about the draft, and everyone thought they were going to move up to get a top wide receiver. General Manager Brandon Beane shocked fans again and moved down, twice, completely out of the first round.

The curious part of what the Bills did was to allow back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs to move up. With that pick the Chiefs got a wide receiver they desperately need. The Bills also desperately need wide receivers. Beane shocked the world when he traded Stefon Diggs and the Bills also lost their number two receiver, Gabe Davis.

Right now the Buffalo Bills roster has few quality wide receivers left. Khalil Shakir, who is just 24-years-old, is the only receiver who got quality minutes last season. The Bills will  rely heavily on their tight end duo of Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox.

The Bills now have two picks in the second round, and they need them. The team has a lot of dead cap money from the Stefon Diggs trade. They need young players to fit into the 2024 salary cap. But, Bills Mafia believes in Brandon Beane and they trust he has something up his sleeve.

Buffalo did add free agent wide receiver Curtis Samuel in March. He signed a three-year-deal as a free agent from the Washington Commanders. Samuel has played many roles and even lined up in the backfield during his career. Josh Allen likes having Samuel in his arsenal, “Bringing in Curtis Samuel, the different things that he can do. Pairing him along with Khalil, who came along last year especially later half of the season,” said Allen.

Superstar quarterback Josh Allen is still the king of Buffalo, and we’re all going to see him in several primetime games next season. The NFL Vice President of Broadcasting Mike North called Allen “must-see TV.”
