The Miami Heat announced on Tuesday that Point Guard Terry Rozier would be unavailable for the team’s play-in game on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night. Rozier has been out since April 7 due to a neck injury he suffered against the Indiana Pacers. The winner of Wednesday’s game will face the New York Knicks in a first-round series beginning on Saturday. The loser will host either the Chicago Bulls or Atlanta Hawks on Friday to earn the eighth seed and a matchup with the top overall seed Boston Celtics.
Rozier averaged 19.8 points per game this season with both the Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat.

Miami has been extremely successful in recent years during the NBA Playoffs. The team has made the NBA Finals in two of the last four years and the Eastern Conference Finals in three of the last four. The Heat will go as far as Jimmy Butler takes them. Butler has been the driving force behind a very successful half-decade down in “South Beach.”
The Miami Heat are no stranger to the NBA Play-In Tournament as they went all the way from the eighth seed to the NBA Finals last season. They would go on and lose to the Denver Nuggets in five games.
Miami will have a tough test in front of them against a Philadelphia 76ers team that is getting healthy at exactly the right time.
