West Ham United and Fulham look to grab three points in today’s Premier League match at London Stadium.
The home team is coming off a 2-1 victory against Wolves. Lucas Paqueta and James Ward-Prowse each scored a goal. Lukasz Fabianski started in net and faced 14 shots while recording six saves.
The visitors suffered a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle in their last match. They dominated large portions of the game with 66.6% of The Possession. However, their 14-shot attempts were unable to find the back of the net. Rodrigo Muniz was subbed off late as he couldn’t get himself going on the offensive end of the pitch. Bernd Leno started as the goalkeeper and was unable to keep a clean sheet.
But do you see the visitors able to force a draw today?
West Ham United vs. Fulham Notable Trends
West Ham United
West Ham sits in eighth place right now with 48 points. Their 52 goals scored and 56 schools against show that going forward hasn’t been as big of an issue as letting in weak goals in the back. They’re not always firing on all cylinders, but when they aren’t, this is a team that’s not afraid to win via a high-scoring affair. Furthermore, in five of their last five Premier League matches, they have allowed at least one goal.
Michail Antonio has yet to find the back of the net in five matches so far. Ward-Prowse has scored six times while also providing seven assists for his teammates. Finally, Paqueta has four goals and six assists in 25 matches.
Fulham
Fulham sits in 13th place with 39 points. They have a similar story in terms of goals allowed and goals against. They also possess a negative four-goal differential. However, they haven’t been as good going forward with only 47 goals on the season, but they’ve been a little better in defense with 51 goals against. Either way, they are safely far away from the potential relegation zone teams, and a win at this point would be more for pride and playing spoilers to West Ham United at this point than anything else.
Muniz leads the team with eight goals. Bobby De Cordova-Reid has six goals and two assists this season. Finally, Andreas Pereira has one goal and seven assists in 29 starts this season.

However, last year, in December, Fulham had an impressive 5-0 victory. Carlos Vinícius, Willian, and Harry Wilson were among the goal scorers of that day. Fabianski faced 14 shots and could only muster up three safes in what was an overall poor performance.
