Real Madrid, through an official statement, has released their 4th kit for their fans to see. Y-3 and designer Yohji Yamamoto designed the kit. The men’s and women’s teams will wear the purple kit in the later stages of the season. The goalkeepers will wear black and orange alternatively. The team also announced that they will be selling the 4 jerseys as a set from March 27th, Wednesday. At the beginning of the year, the team also launched a collaborative travel collection with Y-3 as their collaborative Matchwear company of choice. The merch will be available for purchase on Adidas’ website and Real Madrid’s Official Stores.
Real Madrid Collaborates with Yohji Yamamoto On Their 4th Kit
The 4th kit is a blend of sports and elegance. The design centers around a signature rose motif. Yohji Yamamoto inspired the rose in the days he collaborated with Adidas. Roses have now become Yohji’s unique signature in his designs.
The 4th kit is purple with pink details. There are large silkscreen print letters on the chest, shorts, and the front of the players’ socks. It consists of a full set for matches, a warm-up set, and two kits (black and orange) for the goalkeepers. The players chosen to introduce the new kit were Jude Bellingham, David Alaba, and Misa Rodriguez.

Real Madrid shared details on the 4th kit, “The Y-3 clothing company of designer Yohji Yamamoto and Real Madrid have unveiled a new collection of match wear. It features a purple fourth kit for the men’s and women’s teams made with HEAT.RDY technology, which absorbs moisture, and in which the history and identity of our club are united through this color. In addition, the collection includes two goalkeeper kits, one all-black, and one orange, as well as a white pre-match selection including a top, shorts, and jacket.”
Real Madrid will probably wear the 4th kit on their match against Athletic, which is scheduled for Sunday, 31st March 2024, at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. That would be the best way to promote their new merchandise, considering it will be on sale from Wednesday. The fans will know the prices then.
