‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul made the headlines once again following his fight call-out to Canelo Alvarez. It came as a surprise for fans as Jake Paul name-dropped the undisputed middleweight champion. Following his second first-round knockout win, the 27-year-old claims to be ready for big league games. Meanwhile, fans haven’t responded positively to Paul’s bold call out to fight an actual boxing match after being a retired MMA fighter in the past.
Jake Paul puts Canelo Álvarez on notice following massive first-round KO
Recently, Jake Paul faced Ryan Bourland at the Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The 27-year-old clinched the fight with a first-round victory, sealing his second KO win. With an improvised professional record of 9-1, the Problem Child now wants to reach great heights, and he chose Canelo Alvarez to kick off the real test of grit and test.

During his post-fight interview with Ariel Helwani, Paul took the opportunity to call the undisputed middleweight champion.
“Canelo, stop ducking, I know you want it. I’m repping Puerto Rico, you’re repping Mexico, so it’s Mexico vs Puerto Rico. I want Canelo. I’m the face of this sport. Who’s doing more for boxing than me?”
Currently, Jake Paul holds significant victories over former professional MMA figures like Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and more. However, Paul has yet to engage in a high-intensity fight with a professional boxing champion, such as Canelo Álvarez or Gervonta Davis. This matchup could turn Paul completely upside down with a bizarre experience from actual boxing fighters.
The Problem Child responds to Ryan Garcia’s fueling call-out on social media
Although the Problem Child didn’t get Canelo Alvarez’s attention, he did catch another boxing luminary Ryan Garcia’s attention. Lightweight boxer Ryan Garcia called Jake Paul on social media following his first-round victory, teasing a big showdown between the two fighters.

During the post-fight press conference, Jake Paul finally responded to Garcia’s callout in front of the media.
“That boy is getting that s*** straight from Colombia. You’ve gotta chill out. You seem like you’re losing your mind, acting thirsty and desperate.”
Paul precisely ignored Ryan Garcia’s callout, labeling his footwork and in-ring skills as lame. For now, Paul kept things cool and told Garcia to wait in line for the money to fight. It won’t be a surprise for the fans to watch the two luminaries facing each other in a major fight as they already put some harsh boxing records on the board. Currently, the Problem Child is making headlines in India with the ongoing beef with Indian boxer and Olympic medalist Neeraj Goyat.
