Jon Jones may fight Stipe Miocic in an upcoming UFC event. After a long break of about one year, Jones will be back in the Octagon. But this fight might be his last fight because he has already hinted at it several times. On the other side, Tom Aspinall dominated Curtis Blades in the UFC 304 main event.
He had been winning most of the fights recently, which allowed him to challenge Jones. Aspinall has been challenging Jones for a long time now. Even though he made different videos on social media platforms, making funny videos about challenging Jones, there was no serious reaction from Jones’s side. But recently, Jones replied to Aspinall and in very harsh words.
Jon Jones’s Reaction on SPORTbible
Aspinall recently had an interview with SPORTbible where he was asked multiple times about Jones. He again accused Jones of avoiding a fight against him when asked about “the champion of fight dodging?” He called Jones the fight dodger:
“Fight dodging?. That would have to be Jon Jones, wouldn’t it? We know he’s trying to fight ‘Old Man Stipe.’ Well, he’s going to fight Stipe. He’s the fight dodger around here.”
In the comment section of that video on Instagram, Jones replied in very vulgar language. That comment was later deleted because of the words used by Jones. Such language must not be used by a champion like him because he inspires many of his fans especially the young generation. He must look to use his words correctly otherwise it can lead to a massive decline in his fame. Jones also predicted the future of Aspinall, that he will never surpass him:
“I’m flattered. I absolutely guarantee he will not win more world championships than me. That’s truly all that matters at the end of the day.”
Achievements of Jon Jones
Jon Jones has not lost a single fight until now and he wants to retain that record forever. The CEO of UFC, Dana White loves to have such fighters in UFC, and that benefits the company and the fighter themselves. Jones earned his title from Ciryl Gane in a fight at UFC 285 in March 2023.
Tom Aspinall does not have such accomplishments, but he is being groomed for the Heavyweight UFC Title. Jones has completely dominated every fighter in the UFC. If Tom Aspinall the Interim Title holder, and Jones the Heavyweight Title holder do not fight, we will never learn who would emerge victorious.

A lot of fans also wanted to see Jones vs Aspinall but most importantly White also said to Jones that he should fight Aspinall, and White would be shocked if Jones retired before fighting Aspinall.
