The Georgia Bulldogs ended the season with an awful taste in the mouths of all of Dawgs Nation after the loss to Alabama in yet another SEC Championship game. The dominance of the bulldogs is well-documented. Georgia has gone 42-2 in the last three years, the two losses from a Nick Sabin-led Alabama Crimson Tide. With Georgia’s Boogeyman now with ESPN the Bulldogs are destined to become the next great dynasty in college football.
Georgia Return Stud Quarterback

The Bulldogs return a plethora of production headlined by Heisman candidate quarterback Carson Beck. In his first year as QB1 Beck had the third most passing yards in the country with 3,941 yards and 24 passing touchdowns with a completion percentage of 72%. Although the freak of nature Brock Bowers is moved on Beck still has weapons at his disposal.
The Red and Black have stud wideouts Rara Thomas, Dom Lovett, and Swiss Army Knife Dillon Bell. Thomas transferred in from Mississippi State going into the 2023 season getting little action due to Ladd McConkey and Brock Bowers being the primary targets for Beck. Colbie Young also transferred in from Miami and should be a big-time target. Thomas and Young are deep-ball threats and will open up the opposing defense for the running game that will be led by Florida transfer Trevor Etienne Jr and power back Rodrick Robinson.
The offense will have plenty of experience on the offensive line. Left Tackle Earnest Greene started all 14 games in 2023. Left Guard Dyan Fairchild started 10 games and played in all in 2023. The Right Guard Tate Rutledge is an All-SEC guard started missed the Georgia Tech game due to an injury with 26 starts at right guard. The Right Tackle Xavier Truss has played filled in for the injured Amarius Mims for six games.
A Brutal Schedule
https://gty.im/1829313189
Clemson (Atlanta) August 31
The Tigers have had quite the fall from grace since Trevor Lawrence moved into the NFL. Dabo Swinney has refused to embrace the transfer portal and has turned the powerhouse destined for to become a dynasty into an ACC mid-pack team. This game may have hype but the Dawgs should make short work of the Tigers and move on to Tennessee Tech.
Tennessee Tech September 7
Tennessee Tech is coming off a losing season going 4-7 (2-6) in the Big South. Tech brings back sophomore quarterback Jordyn Potts. This game is just a tune-up for the Dawgs, it is the calm before the storm.
@ Kentucky September 14
Kentucky is always a tough out, especially in Lexington. The projected starting quarterback for the Wildcats is former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Brock Vandergriff who ranked fifth among quarterbacks in his class which consisted of Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Quinn Ewers.
@ Alabama September 28
The game we have all been waiting for. The Dawgs looking for revenge Kalen Deboer looking for that statement win to calm the fears of Tide fans everywhere. Both teams coming off a bye both teams with Heisman Heisman-caliber quarterbacks, week this could be a game-of-the-year candidate.
Auburn October 5
Auburn gave the Dawgs a scare last year jumping out to a quick 10-0 lead and taking the Dawgs to the limit. Brock Bowers took over the game late getting the Dawgs over the line. Could a big game hangover affect the Dawgs enough for a potential upset?
Mississippi State October 12
MSU is in a rebuild. Will Rodgers transfer to Washington. First-year Head Coach Jeff Lebby is trying to replicate the growth he fostered as the Offensive Coordinator at Oklahoma improving from 13th in the country in 2022 in yards per game to fourth in 2023. This game is probably not going to help his stats.
@ Texas October 19
Another game-of-the-year candidate and once again the Dawgs are on the road for what many believe will be a Top 5 matchup. Texas has Heisman contender Quinn Ewers at the helm with the experienced disciple of Nick Sabin, Steve Sarkisian as Head Coach is the presumptive preview of the SEC championship game and maybe round one of three between the Bulldogs and Longhorns.
Florida November 2 (Jacksonville)
Florida Head Coach Billy Napier’s back is against the wall. Napier does have veteran quarterback Graham Mertz who has improved since he transferred in from Wisconsin. It is a rivalry and anything can happen in a rivalry game.
@ Ole Miss November 9
The Rebels are a lot of people’s dark horses for the SEC. Lane Kiffin is one of the great offensive minds in football with a room with Jackson Dart at quarterback getting silent rumbles as a Heisman contender and once again the Dawgs in a massive game on the road could be too much to bear even for a team as great as Georgia.
Tennessee November 16
The hits keep coming, Tennessee is going to have a new quarterback this year. Rising second-year player and former five-star prospect, Nico Iamaleava ranked number two in the nation among all prospects according to Composite 247. He will be able to run Josh Heupel’s offense to Hendon Hooker’s level by the time we get to this point. A potential coming-out party for the Vols?
UMASS November 23
A pet peeve for all football fans is the low-tier group of five teams in late November. I get why teams do this however, just because I get it doesn’t mean it is right hopefully the SEC moves to a nine-game conference schedule and puts an end to this nonsense.
Georgia Tech November 30
Rivalry weekend is the greatest weekend in college football and for the Dawgs and Yellow Jackets, It’s Clean Old Fashioned Hate. Tech slowly rebuilding Brent Key taking the reins in 2022 after a 1-3 start and firing Geoff Collins. Key has improved the team every year finishing 4-4 in 2022 and 7-6 last year. Yellow Jackets could be an ACC dark horse and maybe catch the Dawgs looking ahead to the SEC Championship.
The Expectations
https://gty.im/1829309426
The expectations for Georgia are quite simple, Win it all. Georgia’s defense is still top-notch, Alabama was decimated by the portal, and Florida and Auburn are messes. The team in the SEC that has the best chance at Georgia is Texas and even then the Dawgs have an extra week to prepare. The Dawgs expect to go undefeated and become the first team in college football to go 16-0 since Yale in 1894.
