Buffalo this season will be facing the difficult challenge of keeping their lead in the AFC East. After winning the division for four straight years, the Bills must endure after losing key players this offseason. The easiest stretch for the Bills this season is the opening four weeks against the Cardinals, Dolphins at Miami, Jaguars at home, and Ravens.

Arizona is going through another year of their rebuild, and the Buffalo Bills could take advantage of it. With the Bills’ defense fully healthy, they could beat the Cardinals’ offense of Kyler Murray making mistakes. Along with that is the Bills Josh Allen leading the offense to a strong win.

Buffalo will also face a familiar foe in the Dolphins, who they had beaten in Miami and Buffalo last year. With the Dolphins going all in, they could be desperate like the Bills. However, the Bills could beat the Dolphins again this season.

Jacksonville would also be another easy opponent for the Bills after they had collapsed last year. The Jaguars while improving still have a weak defense, and Josh Allen could do well against them. While the Jags had beaten the Bills in their last two encounters, this year, Josh Allen will have revenge.

The only difficult opponent in the first four weeks for the Bills is the Baltimore Ravens. After a disappointing championship loss, the Ravens are looking for another deep playoff run. Baltimore still has Lamar Jackson and the high-power offense that could beat the Bills. The Bills will need a lot to go right to win against the Ravens.

While the first four weeks of the Bills will be their easier stretch, the most difficult could be in December. In the five-game stretch, the Bills will face the 49ers, Rams, Lions, Patriots, and Jets in crucial games.

Buffalo will face the NFC champions in last season’s Super Bowl with their high-power offense and defense. The Bills must get through the offense led by Brock Purdy and Deebo Samuel to win. Along with the offense is the Niners’ top-tier defense, with Fred Warner and Nick Bosa guarding against Allen and the Bills offense.

Another challenging opponent for the Buffalo Bills is the resurgent Los Angeles Rams and their top-tier offense. LA will have Matt Stattford lead the charge, with Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua helping out. Along with that offense is the improving Rams defense.

Buffalo will also face potentially one of the better Lions teams in decades this season at home. Detroit will have the offensive firepower of Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam LaPorta, and more, led by Jared Goff. The Lions also improve their defense by drafting secondary and Aiden Hutchston being a beast.

While the Patriots are at their weakest, they are still a formidable foe with a split of their season series. New England will have Drake Maye lead the offense, and the Patriots will always have their stout defense.

The last game in December will be against the New York Jets who will have a healthy Aaron Rodgers. While the Jets still have flaws, they will not be an easy opponent to knock out the season. New York will also have their elite defense against the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen who they had beaten last year.

Most Important Games

The most important games for this Buffalo Bills team in 2024 are Baltimore, Kansas City, the Jets at Metlife, and the 49ers.

To have a potential playoff match-up early is crucial for Buffalo to have a chance to see what Baltimore is this season and also what ceiling the Bills have in this match-up. Buffalo has beaten Baltimore before and they could do it again.

Another important game this season is the Bills against Kansas City in week 11. Everyone and their mother wants to see Josh Allen vs Patrick Mahomes and the Bills have beaten the Chiefs in the regular season. This could be a good match for the Bills if they see them again in the playoffs.

The next crucial game for the Buffalo Bills is against the Jets in week six at MetLife. Buffalo has lost their last two meetings at MetLife to the Jets and must win one now. This season is an all-in season for both teams, and the Bills must win to secure their AFC East supremacy

The last important game for the Buffalo Bills is against a Super Bowl contender in the San Francisco 49ers in week 13. For the Bills to have any credibility to be a Super Bowl contender to beat another one in December. Buffalo will need everything to go right, and defeating the runner-ups could do that.

Buffalo is going all in this season, and if this fails, it could result in massive changes, including Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane’s jobs.
